Neither have told us their real names. Yes, I too was a huge fan at first, aspiring to be exactly like them. Then I found out their whole image was false.

ReplyDeleteSo what if they didn't tell people their real names? A lot of writers, entertainers, etc. change their real names or use stage names. Its not unusual to use an agent if you want to go into entertainment.
ReplyDeleteAlso people sue others for defamation, libel, etc that is nothing new. I'm sorry but you don't have much to go on here. If that's the list of their "sins" then so what? They're female and they want to protect themselves. Especially online.
I had my name changed legally by a judge a few years ago but I don't tell people that I did unless its for legal reasons (new job) or personal reasons, when I met my bf I told him that I had changed my name in court, and he understood.
Usually if you have good cause to change your name a judge will grant you that name change. I was bullied in high school and didn't want high school bullies to track me down after high school, my real dad also hit me and my mom before he and my mom got divorced and I didn't want him tracking me either. Yes I had a rough childhood, but I'm doing better as an adult.
I also moved out of state to basically start over. There are so many reasons why people don't want to reveal their "real" names. Sometimes bloggers do come out with their real names once they get popular enough but that isn't cause to accuse them of being fake.

this is rediculous.. so they dont want us knowing their real names.. so what, i think its okay to use another name to protect privacy aswell as these names being more glamerous for a beauty guru, and the rumors about them having agents and so forth are just rumors! youtube isnt that big a deal calm down

ReplyDeleteYou do understand that Elle can be a nickname for Lisa (Elle like L) and that Blair is a nickname for Elizabeth? Of course everyone would call them by their nicknames if that's what their parents call them. And even if no one in their family calls them that maybe they wanted to use a nickname on the Internet for a multitude of different reasons.
